83rd Annual Academy Awards

As I’m sure everyone will have heard by now, Jesse didn’t win Best Actor at the Oscars, the award went to Colin Firth. A result that actually wasn’t that much of a surprise. “The Social Network” did, however, win Best Adapted Screenplay (Aaron Sorkin), Best Original Score (Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross), & Best Film Editing (Angus Wall and Kirk Baxter). There were disappointments when David Fincher lost out on Best Director to Tom Hooper (HOW?), and further disappointment came when “The Social Network” lost out on Best Film to “The King’s Speech” (We’d have rather seen it lose to “Inception”!).

After the show, Jesse attended the Governor’s Ball and photos from that event, along with photos from the show and further additions to the arrivals folder, can now be viewed in the gallery.

I wish David Fincher, Jesse and The Social Network would have won. The King’s Speech is so overrated

The moments when David Fincher and The Social Network lost their awards were quite dissapointing to watch. I really wish they had won! the oscars are not 100% fair. Let´s keep director Steven Spielberg´s words when he was going to reaveal the best movie as a consolation.

Good job Jesse and everyone involved in the Social Network! Congrats on your 3 oscars.

Also sad about Fincher losing :( But he’ll continue to make great movies that I will always keep an eye out for so life goes on! The film did win three awards still so congrats to them.

Anyways, Jesse didn’t attend the Vanity Fair party, did he? ET Online had an exclusive feature on it and I didn’t see him

Cecille – I googled it and I found nothing so no he didn’t attend the VF party :( . Just the governors ball. It’s strange that they had 2 parties. I wish he had gone though!
