From the Fangoria website:
What are the likes of Oscar-winning actor Bruce Davison, Emmy-winning actress Dana Delany and rising star Jesse Eisenberg doing in a movie called CAMP HELL? Find out this summer, and read on for the details…
Lionsgate Home Entertainment has announced that it will release CAMP HELL (previously titled CAMP HOPE) on DVD, digital download and on-demand August 9. Delany and former Brat Packer Andrew McCarthy star as a religious married couple who send their teenage son Tommy (Will Denton) to Camp Hope, a strict Christian camp run by Father McAllister (Davison). Once there, Tommy falls for a promiscuous girl, and intimations of sin lead to the apparent manifestation of supernatural forces. ZOMBIELAND’s Eisenberg, STAKE LAND’s Connor Paolo and THE LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT’s Spencer Treat Clark play fellow campers, George Van Buskirk wrote and directed and it’s all supposedly based on a true story! The DVD will include deleted scenes and retail for $26.98; cover art is coming soon.

/ May 18, 2011Am I the only one interested to see Jesse in this? I have a high tolerance for campy scary flicks, just as long as they’re not overly gory like Saw or Hostel LOL!

/ May 18, 2011personally, didn’t dig the movie, and I am pretty patient and tolerant with movies in general, but I just had no interest in this one, so I skipped through most of it for the Jesse parts only. Turned out he had a very small part. Just some bit in the beginning and then like a few seconds in the end. If you’re only interested in seeing Jesse, then his parts are all up on youtube. just search for “camp hell” or “camp hope”

this is about the only Jesse-involved project that I have no interest in watching twice. I youtubed the clips with Jesse and then dropped it. xD
I think he was good but the movie didnt showcase it well…

/ May 18, 2011Thanks, selma! Will do that. Weird that he signed on to this. He’s usually pretty smart with his choices. Wonder if this was the film he was talking about having regrets over in that Hollywood Reporter roundtable.
