reposting this bit of gossip on Predisposed in case people haven’t seen it b4: since I was on the topic…

A year later, the film showed at Sundance 2009 and Philip came prepared with the feature script. The role of Eli wasn’t yet cast and Philip caught word that 2011 Oscar Nominated Actor Jesse Eisenberg (The Social Network) was interested. Philip jumped a plane to Georgia to meet with Jesse for three hours before a shoot he was on. The result? “We hit it off, he loved the script, and he was in. The most brilliant thing is that in the feature his character is a pianist, and when I walked into his hotel room he had a big keyboard and asked if I wanted him to play something for me. So that was that. We had Eli.”

btw – can’t help saying:
why is everybody trying to politely excuse the superficialness of their remarks these days? I don’t get the trend…. I mean, you don’t really need to say “sorry but I’m shallow that way” after making a perfectly normal comment… what’s the point? it’s not like you’re really apologetic for it, for one thing XD

and anyway – what’s so shallow about obsessing over Jesse’s hair and cap and clothes? 0__0 this is a fansite, obsession over the details are a given…

@JuL! Gosh, how do you find those links? Very resourceful if I might say. Love that tumbler blog. Jesse really has nice legs. Biking really has done him good. I think he’s also mentioned that he plays basketball.

I don’t mind if we obssess over Jesse and his looks either! I mean I first became impressed with him because of his talent which he superbly displayed in “The Social Network,” but it is his humor and charm and his cherubic looks and many many many endearing qualities of him that makes me keep coming back for more and more info about him.

Also, I can’t say it enough but the guys who are responsible for this site are really doing a good job! Keep up the good work and more power!

@ cecille: I just observe the tumblr activity at all hours, keep posted on everything Jesse-related, and follow every single link that looks interesting…. LOL. it’s more childish and stalkerly than anything… there’s absolutely no technique in it.

yeah this site is great I’ve got it set as one of my homepage tabs XD and I’m very happy to see more fans commenting recently. Show Jesse your presence, guys (even if he might find it overwhelming)

yes, I know that blog too TAT that was one of my homepage tabs. It was amazing. I was pretty sad the owner discontinued or something….
