79th Annual Drama League Award Nominations
This morning we announced the 2013 nominees for Outstanding Production of a Broadway or Off-Broadway Play, Outstanding Production of a Broadway or Off-Broadway Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Broadway or Off-Broadway Play, Outstanding Revival of a Broadway or Off-Broadway Musical, and Distinguished Performance Award at a ceremony hosted by Patina Miller and Michael Urie at Sardi’s restaurant. The ceremony was streamed live at BroadwayWorld.com.
Now begins the exciting lead-up to the 79th Annual Drama League Awards, which will be held at the Marriott Marquis Times Square on Friday May 17 at noon. The event includes pre-event cocktails and the star-studden afternoon luncheon ceremony hosted by David Hyde Pierce.

Writer and Academy Award-nominated actor Jesse Eisenberg joins us to talk about his latest play, The Revisionist, in which he co-stars with Vanessa Redgrave at Off-Broadway’s Cherry Lane Theatre. Eisenberg plays a narcissistic young American writer who visits Redgrave, his distant relative in Poland who is still traumatized by the Second World War. The clash between the two characters and their family values, lead to the revelation of a heart-wrenching secret that changes both of their lives. In a freewheeling conversation, the astonishingly forthright Eisenberg discusses how he went from being a kid doing children’s theater in Queens, to being a celebrated and accomplished actor/writer, now appearing in his own work opposite one of the world’s most legendary actresses.

New Release Date for NOW YOU SEE ME
Summit Entertainment has moved the release of both Red 2 and Now You See Me earlier into the summer movie season. Red 2 has shifted from August 2, 2013 to July 19, 2013, and Now You See Me moves up one week from June 7, 2013 to May 31 2013.
