Shooting for the feature film Predisposed began in Tarrytown yesterday at the YMCA on Main Street.

Predisposed is a comedy starring Jesse Eisenberg, Tracy Morgan and Melissa Leo. You can read more about the production in our story here.

“I was a little surprised when they came to us and said they wanted to film here,” said Gerry Riera, CEO of the Family Y in Tarrytown.

Scenes being shot at the YMCA included a day-care setting and the outside brick facade facing Main Street.

“They originally wanted to film in our main entrance, but it would have been too disruptive for our members,” Riera said. “When you see the building in the finished movie, you probably won’t even be able to tell it is the YMCA.”

Riera said he didn’t have a chance to catch much of the filming, and wasn’t able to meet any of the stars in the production, but if you hung around outside long enough you could catch a glimpse of a few during shooting.

The scene being shot yesterday afternoon involved Melissa Leo and Jesse Eisenberg picking up a child from the YMCA in a hurried state. You can see video from the shoot and some select photos in the accompanying media gallery.

Predisposed is shooting near the Irvington border today, at the Make-a-Wish Foundation and will be continuing to shoot in Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow over the next week and a half.
