Best Film: The Social Network
The Social Network, the eagerly awaited film about the founders of Facebook, which stars Jesse Eisenberg, Mara Rooney, Andrew Garfield, and Justin Timberlake, not surprisingly takes the number spot at the box office.
The film is estimated to make approximately $26 million.
Coming in second is last week’s winner, Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, starring Michael Douglas, Shia LaBeouf, and Carey Mulligan. It’s total weekend take is expected to be around $10.2 million.
Slated to come in third is The Town with approximately $10 million in receipts, followed by the animated Legend Of The Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole with a box office of around $9.6 million.
Rounding out the Top Five is Easy A, which is on track to earn about $7.2 million.
