Canadian premiere of ‘To Rome With Love’ will be at the Italian Contemporary Film Festival

Italian Contemporary Film Festival coming to TIFF Lightbox

He may forever be linked with Manhattan, but Woody Allen also feels some amore for Rome. The filmmaker’s To Rome With Love is the closing night film for the inaugural Italian Contemporary Film Festival.

It will be the Canadian premiere for the film, which features a star-studded cast including Canadian actress Ellen Page, Alec Baldwin, Roberto Benigni, Penélope Cruz, Judy Davis and Jesse Eisenberg. Cast member Monica Nappo, who plays Sofia, will be at the screening.

The film festival takes place at the TIFF Bell Lightbox from June 26 to July 1 and features a wide array of Italian films.
